12th International Competition - Teatri Riflessi

About the Open Call

Teatri Riflessi is a contest for short performances not exceeding 15 minutes, promoting discussion on contemporary dramaturgy and performing languages. The 2026-2027 edition explores the theme 'constellations'. Selected semi-finalists will perform in Zafferana Etnea in July 2027. Selected works receive a performance fee and are eligible for various cash prizes and residency opportunities.

What is Offered

Performance fee ranging from €500 to €1,100, contribution towards travel expenses, cash prizes for winners (Best Performance, Best Dramaturgy, etc.), and potential artist residencies/touring opportunities.

Requirements

The call is open to short performances of maximum 15 minutes. A full video recording of the complete work is mandatory for evaluation. If selected, a €50 deposit is required (fully refunded after the festival). Rehearsals are mandatory.
