About the Open Call

In 2026, Uwe Wolff’s Foundation and the Municipality of Sønderborg will host 8 selected artists for a week-long symposium. The theme for 2026 is the local history of the brickmaking industry, specifically centered around Cathrinesminde Teglværk. Selected artists will receive an oak tree block (minimum 60x160 cm) to create a sculpture on-site. The finished works will be exhibited in a local park and later donated to the Museum Cathrinesminde Teglværk. Artists are expected to work in public view and participate in social activities and excursions during the event.

What is Offered
