International Ceramics Exhibition Mino
The International Ceramics Exhibition Mino is a competition aimed at supporting the growth of the ceramics industry and cultural exchange. Approximately 200 selected works will be exhibited at Ceramics Park MINO from 8 October to 7 November 2027. Applicants must submit self-created works produced on or after 1 February 2024. Entries should demonstrate imagination, explore the potential of ceramics, and must not have been selected for other public competitions. Size guidelines apply (under 4m² floor space, under 4m height, under 100kg weight). Awards include a Grand Prix of 5,000,000 JPY, various category awards, and the Sakazaki Shigeo Ceramics Award for artists under 40.
Awards include a 5,000,000 JPY Grand Prix, multiple cash prizes ranging from 100,000 to 2,000,000 JPY, and an exhibition opportunity for approximately 200 works. The Grand Prix winner receives travel and accommodation coverage to attend the award ceremony.
Works must be self-created, made primarily of ceramics, produced on or after 1 February 2024, not previously selected in other public competitions, and must meet specific transportation and display weight/size limits.
