About the Open Call
The 159th Annual International Exhibition of the American Watercolor Society will be held April 7 – May 1, 2026, at the Salmagundi Club in NYC. There will be an opening reception on Tuesday, April 7th from 6-8 pm. There will be a Watercolor Evening demonstration by Stephen Quiller, AWS, D.F., on Thursday, April 30th at 6 pm. The demo will be available both live and through Zoom.
Requirements
Submissions to the Annual International Exhibition are open to artists worldwide, both member and non-member. Applicants will need to log in to their AWS account to view the submission portal.
How to Apply
Submissions to the 159th Exhibition will open on Tuesday, September 2, and close Wednesday, November 12, 2025 at noon EST. Note that you will need to LOG IN TO YOUR AWS ACCOUNT to view the submission portal.
