Jan van Eyck Academie
The fellowships support research into sustainable, non-toxic, and biobased material alternatives in arts and design. Fellows will work within the Jan van Eyck Academie community, access labs and expert advice, and collaborate with regional partners like Textile Innovation Maastricht and CHILL at Brightlands Chemelot Campus. The program is part of the Future Threads initiative. Fellows receive a private studio, a monthly stipend of 1,750 EUR, and an annual working budget of 2,250 EUR.

Applicants must be active in art/design, not be an alumnus of Jan van Eyck, Rijksakademie, or De Ateliers, and be willing to reside in Maastricht or surroundings (within 10km).
