2026-2027 Sculpture Garden Exhibition

About the Open Call
This is a call for the 22nd annual Sculpture Garden exhibit. Sculptures will be on display for 12 months starting May 2026. Pieces are installed on steel plates on soft ground within the public grounds of the Kemp Center for the Arts. The exhibition is juried by Rania Hassan. Selected works must be durable enough to withstand outdoor elements and the site's irrigation system.
What is Offered
Selected artists receive a total exhibition stipend of $1500 ($750 upon installation and $750 upon deinstallation). Cash prizes include 1st ($2500), 2nd ($1500), and 3rd ($500). Hotel accommodation is provided for the opening reception.
Requirements
Open to national artists. Sculptures should be at least 3 feet in any one dimension. Media must be durable (metal, stone, ceramic, etc.). Artists are expected to attend the opening event on May 9, 2026. Artists are responsible for delivery and pick-up; shipping is at the artist's expense.
How to Apply
Artists must apply through the CaFÉ (Call for Entry) system. Up to three pieces may be submitted per artist. Applications should include images and are encouraged to include video of each piece.
