About the Open Call

Monira Foundation’s Artist-in-Residence Program supports established artists working in visual arts media. Residents receive access to a 500 sq. ft. private studio space, access to studio visits from curators, critics, and collectors, and a stipend. The program operates on a blind review process. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and eligible to work in the U.S.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years old, eligible to reside in the U.S., not currently enrolled in degree-granting programs or other residencies. Established artist status required.

Submit application via SlideRoom including artist statement, statement of interest, and 5 images or videos of recent work. Do not include personal identifiers in submitted materials.
