About the Open Call

ArtTreasury is an annual time capsule of global creativity, a treasure box of artwork by diverse artists. This magazine provides a special feature on each artist, complete with their art, artist statement and contact information. Book your space in this special catalogue of talented artists from around the world. Your work will be published or your fee will be refunded. If your work is selected you will be: Announced as one of the selected artists in the ArtAscent newsletter. Published in ArtTreasury Art & Literature Journal—a beautiful collectable keepsake that is available in digital and print long after the release date. Your showcase includes your artist website link and at least one of your submitted pieces. Showcased for at least two years on the ArtAscent website online exhibition, including your artist website link. Listed by name online for at least two years on the ArtAscent website artist listing directory. Promoted on the ArtAscent Facebook, Bluesky, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram sites (unless you opt out in the application form). Submitted work can include visual art – paintings, drawings, photography, mixed media, digital, printmaking, installations, ceramics, fabric, jewelry, sculpture, and other 2- and 3-dimensional media. We do not represent artists or sell their work. Any purchase inquiries will be referred directly to the artist. Your submission must be your original creation. Your submission may be previously published by others, but not by us in ArtTreasury (ArtAscent is OK). All artists 18 years and older can apply. If submitting more than one image, they can be images of different artworks or various views of the same artworks, it’s up to you. ArtAscent will choose which of your images to include, if you are selected for publication. Our calls for artists do not support video or sound. Good photography that documents interactive or performance art may be submitted. All application images and stories submitted to ArtAscent remain the property of the artist and the artist retains the copyright. Applicants agree that ArtAscent may feature their submitted entry for display, marketing, promotions, and exhibition archives worldwide and for all time. We will credit each artist with their name, artwork title and media, website, photographer credit, and gallery if requested. The submission process includes application fee, application form, submission review and jurying, article editing, and selected artists publication in ArtTreasury magazine, ArtAscent website and online social media. Each call is juried independently, so previously selected artists have equal opportunity of being selected again. The intent is that all applicants are published. If your submission is not selected for publication, your application fee will be returned.

What is Offered

Selected artists will be published in ArtTreasury Art & Literature Journal, showcased on the ArtAscent website online exhibition and artist listing directory for at least two years, and promoted on ArtAscent's social media platforms. Artist website links will be included, and purchase inquiries will be referred directly to the artist.

Requirements

Submitted work can include visual art – paintings, drawings, photography, mixed media, digital, printmaking, installations, ceramics, fabric, jewelry, sculpture, and other 2- and 3-dimensional media. Submissions must be original creations and may be previously published by others but not by ArtAscent in ArtTreasury. All artists 18 years and older can apply. Video or sound art is not supported, but good photography documenting interactive or performance art may be submitted. Applicants agree that ArtAscent may feature their submitted entry for display, marketing, promotions, and exhibition archives worldwide and for all time, with proper credit to the artist.

How to Apply

There are two steps. First, apply. Second, subscribe to the ArtAscent newsletter if you haven’t already. 1. Submit the application form. ArtTreasury 2026 Application Form. Fields marked with an * are required. Upload Images (up to 6) of your artwork. You MUST name your files in this style: ArtTreasury_Lastname_Firstname_ImageTitle.jpg. After you click Submit button below, wait for your browser to finish uploading the form and files in order to have a successful submission. Depending on the size and quantity of your files, this may take some time. 2. If you’re not already subscribed, sign up to the ArtAscent newsletter to receive the email notification of selected artists.
