About the Open Call
The DAG Prize celebrates innovation in visual arts. Applicants must be working on a new project that is already substantially underway and must meet professional career milestones. Eligibility is determined by meeting at least two of several criteria, including an MFA, solo or group exhibitions in curated spaces, previous grants or residencies, and press coverage. Major national or international prize winners are ineligible.
Requirements
Applicants must meet at least two of the following: MFA from an accredited program, small art grant/prize, residency at a reputable colony, solo show at a curated gallery, group show at a curated gallery, reviews/interviews in reputable publications, or work in a prestigious museum collection. Must be a US resident and have a new project substantially underway. Major national/international prize winners are ineligible.
