The Andy Warhol Foundation Arts Writers Grant
The program supports projects addressing both general and specialized art audiences, from short reviews for magazines and newspapers to in-depth scholarly studies, as well as art writing that engages criticism through interdisciplinary methods and experiments with literary styles. Eligible categories include Article, Book, Short-Form Writing, and Translation.
Grants ranging from $15,000 to $50,000
Applicants must be individuals at least 25 years old, U.S. citizens, permanent residents of the United States, or holders of O-1 visas, and established or emerging writers who are published authors. Projects must focus on contemporary visual art (post-WWII). Full eligibility details and exclusions are provided in the official program guidelines.
