About the Open Call

The National Taiwan Craft Research and Development Institute (NTCRI) is establishing the 'Zhongxing International Craft Village' and launching its first-ever Artist-in-Residence program. The residency offers living and working space, funding, and equipment access to craft creators. Residents are expected to complete one outdoor craft installation and host monthly open studio events.

What is Offered

Funding up to NT$620,000, free use of a two-story live/work space, free utilities, and access to equipment in woodworking, metalworking, fiber arts, and ceramics studios.

Requirements

Applicants must be at least 20 years old and not enrolled as students. International applicants must have basic communication skills in Chinese and English. Group applicants must be registered craft organizations in Taiwan.
