About the Open Call

The 2027 ACC NEXT Emerging Asian Artists open call invites artists to submit works themed 'Prototype,' focusing on art and technology. The initiative supports emerging artists through exhibition opportunities, artist fees, and production support. Eligible media includes interactive installations, generative video/image, kinetic/robotic art, and XR. Selection process is document-based.

What is Offered

Artist fee of 3,000,000 KRW, installation/materials budget up to 2,000,000 KRW, travel support, and accommodation. Additional opportunity to participate in the 2027 ACC CREATORS Residency.

Requirements

Applicants must be nationals of an Asian country, born on or after January 1, 1987 (under age 40). Must have participated in at least one solo exhibition, one national/public museum exhibition, or three group exhibitions. Must be able to participate in installation and the opening.
