Asymmetry Art Foundation and Nottingham Contemporary
The fellowship provides an immersive introduction to contemporary curatorial practice, involving contributions to exhibitions, artist commissions, live programs, research, and institutional development. It is geared towards early-career curators (1-3 years experience) who identify with Chinese or Sinophone cultures or backgrounds. The fellow will work within Nottingham Contemporary's team while also participating in Asymmetry's international network of scholars and practitioners.
Annual salary of £27,556, pension, National Insurance contributions, visa/legal fee assistance, and travel/relocation allowance.
1–3 years of curatorial experience; knowledge of contemporary art history; degree in Art History, Cultural Studies, or equivalent; interest in emerging artistic practices; English fluency; ability to work collaboratively in a public institutional setting.
