About the Open Call

Getxophoto 2027 – Tide calls for proposals in the field of image-making – photography, video, actions, installations, digital art or other visual practices – that engage with the concept of 'tide' as a force of dynamic movement, collectivity, and social impact. Selected projects will be featured in the 21st edition of the festival (May 27 – June 20, 2027). The festival emphasizes public space as a meeting place and welcomes works that bridge physical and online environments.

What is Offered

Winning artists receive an exhibition or installation opportunity during Getxophoto 2027, production costs covered, a €500 fee, two nights accommodation, and travel support up to €150.

Requirements

Projects can be submitted in English or Spanish. Submissions should engage with the theme 'Tide' and demonstrate artistic merit and conceptual development.
