Miami University
Young painters, U.S. residents, ages 25 – 35 are invited to participate in an annual juried competition for the 2027 $10,000 William and Dorothy Yeck Award. Entrants should have achieved a significant degree of success as an emerging artist of noteworthy talent. The Yeck Award-winning artwork becomes part of the Miami University Painters of the 21st Century Collection. The 10 selected finalists will have their work exhibited at Miami University. Finalists are responsible for shipping and insurance costs for delivery to the University.
$10,000 William and Dorothy Yeck Purchase Award, $2,500 Second Place Award, $2,000 Third Place Award, and an exhibition for finalists.
U.S. residents, ages 25 – 35. Artwork must be representational realism, completed within the past three years, and not part of any public or private collection.
Submit via the official online Entry Form and Contract. Include 2-5 images of paintings, an image list (Word doc), and send a 1-2 page CV via email to taulbeae@MiamiOH.edu. Pay the $25 entry fee through the provided online store link.
