2027 Oolite Arts Studio Residency Program

About the Open Call

The Oolite Arts Studio Residency program offers artists time, space, and resources to advance their practice. Residents receive free 24-hour studio access for one year (Feb 16, 2027 – Jan 14, 2028). Eligible South Florida residents may receive a total of $15,000 in housing support ($12,000 Knight Artist Housing Stipend plus $3,000 from Oolite Arts). Participants must engage in public programs and community outreach.

Free studio space, access to fabrication facilities, professional development, and potential housing stipends totaling $15,000 for qualifying artists.

Requirements

Must be 21+, not enrolled in a degree-granting academic program in 2027, and a current resident of Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach, or Monroe county. Previous residency or major award winners from the last two years are ineligible.
