About the Open Call
Selected artists have full use of the state-of-the-art Hot Shop and the assistance of MOG's Hot Shop Team for up to five days. The residency encourages collaborative proposals or projects that incorporate ideas across disciplines or materials, including a specific opportunity for projects connecting art and science via the Sheldon Levin Memorial Visiting Artist Residency.
What is Offered
Use of Hot Shop, assistance from Hot Shop Team, and two 8-hour days of coldworking support.
Requirements
Artists are eligible for a residency once every three years. Must be able to work in public view and handle own travel, accommodations, and material costs.
