7th International Choreographic Competition LINKAGE

About the Open Call

The 7th International Choreographic Competition LINKAGE invites choreographers to present contemporary dance solos or duets live. Finalists (10 selected) will perform in Stara Zagora, Bulgaria from November 6-9, 2026. The competition offers cash prizes of up to EUR 3,000, and includes special prizes such as artistic residencies and festival selections. Travel expenses are the responsibility of the participants, but accommodation and airport transfers from Sofia Airport are provided.

What is Offered

Cash awards for First (3000 EUR), Second (2000 EUR), Third (1000 EUR), and Audience Prize (1000 EUR), plus special prizes including residencies, workshops, and festival selections.

Requirements

Choreographers up to 40 years of age. Works must be contemporary dance solos or duets, 5 to 13 minutes in duration. No nationality restrictions.

Submit the official online Google Form including choreographic details, bio, and a video link (Youtube or Vimeo) of the piece.
