9th Annual “Patterns, Textures & Forms” Online Art Competition

About the Open Call

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is hosting its 9th Annual “Patterns, Textures & Forms” Online Art Competition, open to 2D and 3D artists globally. Artists, including those working in photography and digital art, are encouraged to submit their interpretation of the theme in any media. The competition aims to select works for the Gallery’s October 2025 online group exhibition. Entrants can review previous exhibitions and judging criteria for guidance. Early registration offers discounted entry fees until August 1, 2025, with standard fees applying thereafter. Special lower fees are available for students.

What is Offered

The Best in Show winner receives a $100 cash prize via PayPal. The top 12 winning artists will receive extensive promotion through major news outlets, including Google News & Bing News, and worldwide online publicity via email marketing and social media. Artists will also get links back to their websites, a Digital Award Certificate, Award Ribbon, Event Postcard, and Press Releases for their art portfolio.

Requirements

The competition is open to 2D and 3D artists from around the world, regardless of their residence. Submissions should be representational and/or abstract work in any media, including photography and digital art, reflecting the “Patterns, Textures & Forms” theme.
