Abbott Watts Residency for Photography

About the Open Call

The Abbott Watts Residency for Photography supports photographers with access to a darkroom for silver gelatin printing and analog alternative processes, as well as a large digital studio with PC workstations and Adobe Creative Cloud. Residents receive a private bedroom, all meals, and a stipend ($250 for 2 weeks, $500 for 4 weeks). A car is required for transport to the studio in Blanchard. Various 2027 sessions are available with rolling application windows throughout the year.

Requirements

Artists are expected to supply their own materials including film, paper, chemicals, and ink. A car is required for the 8-minute drive between the housing and the studio.
