About the Open Call

The African Design Centre (ADC) Fellowship is a twelve-month residency program based in Kigali, Rwanda, aimed at empowering emerging African architects, urban designers, landscape architects, and engineers. The fellowship focuses on research into indigenous knowledge systems, piloting community-based projects, and disseminating knowledge. Fellows receive mentorship and training while exploring issues such as health, social opportunity, and climate-positive development.

Requirements

Applicants must be nationals of an African country, 35 years of age or below, hold a degree in architecture, urban design, landscape, engineering, or a related field, and be available for relocation to Kigali from October 2026 to September 2027.
