About the Open Call

This is an artist-run festival putting the focus exclusively on VIDEO ART. No short films, music videos, cartoons, or documentaries. Selected works will be screened at MACA and exhibited in a shop window at MUBAG. Works must be single-channel, max 7 minutes, made no earlier than 2024, and have a resolution of 720 or greater. Spanish subtitles required for non-Spanish language works. Past year's artists are ineligible.

What is Offered

Selection for exhibition at MACA and MUBAG, inclusion in Las Cigarreras Cultural Center's video art collection, and an official catalog by the City Council.

Requirements

Single-channel video art only. Max 7 minutes duration. Produced no earlier than 2024. Max 2 works per artist. No short films, documentaries, or fiction. Must include Spanish subtitles if original language is not Spanish.
