About the Open Call

The Alexander Brest Gallery, a versatile 2300 square foot professional exhibition space at Jacksonville University's Linda Berry Stein College of Arts & Sciences, is holding an open call for exhibition proposals for its 2026-2027 season. The gallery aims to showcase both nationally recognized artists and emerging Jacksonville University student artists and designers. Proposals are welcome for 2D, 3D, installation, and video work, for both solo and group exhibitions. The gallery provides students with opportunities to assist in installation, managing the art collection, and creating social media content through a work study program, fostering professional development and experiential resume additions.
