About the Open Call
Alternative Roots is a day-long festival celebrating interdisciplinary practices and the diversity of East and Southeast Asian (ESEA) creative communities in the UK. We are looking for existing live works (up to 60 minutes) that draw from theatre, dance, performance art, or interdisciplinary practice. We welcome applications from both emerging and mid-career artists.
What is Offered
Artist fee of £400 per slot, venue and basic tech support, and documentation and marketing.
Requirements
Artists who identify as East and Southeast Asian (ESEA), or who have a meaningful connection to ESEA heritage/contexts.
