About the Open Call
The Summer Residency provides an assigned home studio space, access to studio facilities, and technical support. Activities include visiting artist talks, studio visits, group critiques, and seminar sessions. Up to 10 research scholarships ranging from $250 to $500 are available for outstanding projects based on the research proposal.

Requirements
Artists must demonstrate technical skill. Eligible applicants include alumni, community artists, and AUArts undergraduate students with at least 90 degree credits and a minimum 2.0 GPA.

Assemble a single PDF containing the Summer Residency Application Form, a Research Proposal, up to 5 images of recent work, and a Curriculum Vitae. Submit the PDF to summerresidency@auarts.ca.
