About the Open Call

Salt Lick Incubator is a nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting emerging artists working in melody- and lyric-driven music. Recipients receive funding alongside mentorship and guidance from industry professionals with a personalized development plan. Applicants must be emerging artists in the early stages of their career, U.S. residents, own their master recordings, and not be under a record label contract.

What is Offered

Grants ranging from $5,000 to $15,000, mentorship, and personalized professional guidance.

Requirements

Must be at least 18; U.S. citizen or eligible to work in the U.S.; early-stage emerging artist; own master recordings; no active label contract; no more than three full-length albums released; individual or small group.
