About the Open Call
The sixth iteration of The Other MA (TOMA) offers an education programme designed as a place to become and stay an artist. The programme runs from February 2027 to April 2028. Applicants will be considered by a panel, with potential for an invitation to Southend for a conversation and sharing of work in November 2026. Every artist receives feedback on their application.

An artist-led education programme providing studio support, community, and mentorship for artists.
