About the Open Call

art+film+vienna (a+f+v) is an annual festival founded in 2024, exploring the intersections of film, visual art, performance, sound, and digital media. The festival focuses on experimental moving-image works, including expanded cinema, installations, and live audiovisual performances. The event takes place at the historic Breitenseer Lichtspiele and other venues throughout Vienna.

What is Offered

Selection for the festival program, potential screening onsite or online, and two festival passes for team members of each selected production.

Requirements

Short films (up to 30 minutes) and feature-length films; all entries must have English audio or English subtitles; submitters must be 18 or older; specific technical requirements apply for installations.
