ART MAKER Magazine is thrilled to announce an international art call for our Fall Print Issue, dedicated entirely to the incredible world of Illustration and curated by Gaby D’Alessandro and Meg Rogers Eldredge. For this issue, we seek to highlight the diverse styles and unique perspectives that shape contemporary illustration, worldwide. Whether your work is digital or traditional, abstract or hyper-realistic, commercial or personal, we want to see it. We invite illustrators from all backgrounds and career stages to share their work with us. What makes ART MAKER different? We are artist-run and dedicate ourselves to advancing your career! We offer FREE applications and send our magazine out to 50-60 galleries and agencies each and every cycle. And your featured work gets seen by our growing network of collectors and curators through our social media! ART MAKER isn’t just another publication for your CV; we are a community who works for you. About Us: ART MAKER Magazine is a new international publication dedicated to showcasing compelling contemporary art from across all disciplines ages 18 and older. Our mission is to connect artists with international collectors, galleries, and each other through a beautifully designed print and digital magazine, social media features, and our growing Community.

What is Offered

A 2-page spread in ART MAKER Magazine Issue #2 (print and digital), exposure on an international stage (copies sent to 50-60 galleries and illustration agencies), the option to be interviewed, FREE access to the ART MAKER Community and future virtual events, eligibility to apply to the ARTIST Talks series, deeply discounted digital and physical copies of the magazine, and features on the website, social media channels, and newsletter. Selected artists will also receive a complimentary digital copy of the magazine.

Requirements

Applications are open to artists 18 years of age or older, worldwide. All images must be 300dpi, clear and well-lit. By applying, applicants testify that all artwork is original and that they are the copyright owners. Commercial artwork submissions are welcome as long as the applicant has permission and/or copyright ownership. All applicants are required to submit an artist statement or bio. Applications missing required items will not be accepted. This is a juried opportunity; selection is not guaranteed.

Applicants must register and apply via the ArtCall platform. Use code “FREE” at registration to waive all fees. All applicants are required to submit an artist statement or bio. Images must be 300dpi, clear and well-lit. Applications missing required items will not be accepted.
