About the Open Call

The "Art on Climate" International Illustration and Animated Video Competition focuses on the theme of climate change, inviting talented illustrators and video creators to share innovative ideas and practical solutions. Organized by Fingertips Company Limited and sponsored by Allianz Global Investors, this global initiative seeks to raise awareness and drive action against climate change. Participants are encouraged to draw inspiration from topics such as empowering communities for climate resilience, establishing planetary boundaries, advancing inclusive capitalism, leveraging technology for sustainability, and uniting for collective action. The competition, launched in Spain in 2019, has grown significantly, attracting thousands of artists worldwide. It serves as a platform for both professional and emerging artists to contribute creatively to climate awareness.

What is Offered

Cash prizes ranging from €150 to €2,000 are awarded to winning illustrations and animated videos, along with e-certificates. All winning artworks will be displayed in a virtual exhibition.

Requirements

Open to any person aged 18 or above as of 18 May 2025, from any location. Participants may submit up to three original illustrations and three original animated videos. Artworks must be relevant to the theme of climate change, created individually, and not previously published or awarded. AI-generated artworks, photographs, and clip art are prohibited for illustrations. Specific technical specifications for image and video formats, resolution, and length must be followed.

How to Apply

Participants are invited to register and upload their artwork on the official website between 19 May 2025 and 31 July 2025. Submissions can be either illustrations or animated videos, adhering to specific technical specifications provided on the website.
