About the Open Call

The theme, A View from Everywhere, recognises that no single perspective can represent the world in its entirety. Instead, the exhibition invites artists to contribute works that reflect diverse lived experiences, cultural backgrounds, and artistic viewpoints. Through a salon-style display, artworks from different disciplines will be presented in dialogue with one another, creating unexpected connections across geography, medium, and subject matter. Curated by Nelson Qin, the exhibition seeks work that demonstrates artistic clarity, originality, and a distinctive perspective. Rather than presenting a unified narrative, ArtEvol aims to celebrate multiple voices and encourage conversations across generations, cultures, and artistic practices.

Requirements

Open to individual artists and artist collectives of all nationalities. Applicants must be 18 years or older by the application deadline. Both emerging and established artists are encouraged to apply. Existing artworks may be submitted, although new work is encouraged. Applications are welcomed across all artistic disciplines and cultural backgrounds, with particular encouragement for artists from marginalised communities.
