artist call for THG Open

About the Open Call

THG invites applications to the THG Open 2025 exhibition (12 July – 23 August). Any South West-based artist can enter their work with the chance of being part of this ever-popular biennial art exhibition. Work can be in any media including painting, sculpture, photography, print, drawing, video, mixed and digital media. There is no theme. The THG Open is a key part of THG’s exhibition programme showcasing the rich talent of established and emerging contemporary visual artists living in the South West.

What is Offered

Opportunity to exhibit work in the THG Open 2025 exhibition. Prizes include a Main Prize of £500, an Emerging Artist Prize of £250, and a Visitors’ Choice Prize of £100.

Requirements

Any South West-based artist can enter their work. Free entry for age 18-25 year olds (proof of age may be required).

How to Apply

Artists can submit up to two artworks an entry fee of £10. Free entry for age 18-25 year olds. Please read the terms before submitting your artwork.
