About the Open Call

To mark the 60th anniversary of the partial decriminalisation of homosexuality in the UK, QHS and PAS invite an artist or collective with an interdisciplinary practice to respond to the QHS digital collection and the PAS 2027 curatorial theme (doppelganger/private vs public lives) to create an exhibition for the Main Gallery. The selected artist will also contribute to public engagement, digital outputs, and research publication. The selection process involves a shortlist and exploratory conversations (honorarium provided).
