Kinfolk Families
The ADP brings together a small cohort of six artists—two each living in Scotland, England and Germany—for a supportive, care-informed and creative development experience, delivered entirely online. The program includes group sessions, creative prompts, one-to-one mentorship, and critical feedback, culminating in an online public showcase. It explores themes of radical care and matricentric feminism. The schedule is designed to accommodate caregiving responsibilities, potentially including evening hours.
Each participant will receive a £330 honorarium, 1:1 mentorship, critical feedback, participation in a public showcase, inclusion in a documentation publication, and access to a peer cohort.
Applicants must be parents, carers, or family-makers residing in Scotland, England, or Germany. The program is open to artists at any stage of their career working in visual art, performance, or interdisciplinary practices.
Applications are submitted via a Google Form link available on the website. For accessibility, applicants can email their answers as a Google doc to hello@kinfolkfamilies.info with the subject 'application to ADP'.
