Echoes of Earth
Echoes of Earth is seeking artists with a vision who care about the environment and have experience creating work for large public spaces or festivals. All works must use waste, natural, or repurposed materials, with innovation encouraged in using scrap and discarded objects. Installations must be safe, structurally sound, and suitable for outdoor conditions. ART & DESIGN categories include: Sculptural Installations (Fauna, Flora & Ecological Forms), Kinetic Sculptures, Kids-oriented installations, Immersive & Experiential Art, Light Art and Projection Mapping, Sonic / Sound Installations, Spatial Experience Designers/Composers (generative sound architects, Scenographers), Digital & Interactive installations, Motion Graphics & Visual Narratives, AI-based Art Projects, and AR / VR. PERFORMING ARTS & THEATRE categories include: Ecological/land-based theatre makers, Movement-based or physical theatre artists, Performance poets and spoken word storytellers, Puppetry and indigenous theatre forms, Experimental and immersive theatre, Street theatre and theatre troupes, Sensory storytelling, and Folk and tribal musical storytellers.
The opportunity to present art at the Echoes of Earth festival with support from the production team for on-site build and execution.
Artists must care about the environment and have experience creating work for large public spaces or festivals. All installations must be safe, structurally sound, and suitable for outdoor conditions. Selected artists are required to manage their build and execution on site. As a partner, you commit to maintaining the confidentiality of any proprietary festival information and organizational strategies. Accessibility needs must be notified in advance. Work must be conducted under the supervision of designated Festival staff or team leads. Promptly inform the Coordinator of any uncommunicated accessibility issues. A strict policy against the use of illegal drugs and intoxication is enforced, with violations leading to immediate dismissal. Partners must not consume or bring single-use plastic items to the festival grounds. The Festival reserves the right to terminate participation for non-compliance or unacceptable behavior and may modify terms and conditions.
If your work aligns with the requirements, fill out the application form provided. Submissions will be reviewed, and selected partners will be notified via email by 15th September 2025. Applicants are asked to describe any previous experience incorporating repurposing or sustainable practices into their art, their concept for wildlife preservation, and to provide links to their work/portfolio and Instagram Art Handle. A PDF of menu & images can also be uploaded.
