About the Open Call

The grant includes a stipend of $350/week, up to $1000 for materials, up to $250 for travel within the Continental US, free onsite housing, and 24/7 studio access. WSW provides technical advice and production assistance. Recipients are chosen by an outside jury. The residency lasts 8-10 weeks.

Requirements

Submit resume, 200-word project description, material budget, 10 images of recent work, image script, physical book mock-up, and shipping form.

How to Apply

Upload resume, project description, budget form, images, and image script via the Submittable portal. Mail a physical book mock-up and a completed shipping form to the Women’s Studio Workshop address.
