About the Open Call

ArtWorks Together is an international festival, offering adult artists who have a learning disability, are autistic or both, the opportunity to showcase their talents to the entire world, gaining the recognition they deserve. We believe that everyone should have the opportunity to fully participate in arts and culture By providing a platform for underrepresented artists to showcase their work on an international stage, we aim to raise their aspirations, inspire confidence and empower their talent to flourish freely within the creative sector. Established by ArtWorks South Yorkshire, a non-profit creative arts organisation, supporting adults who have a learning disability, are autistic or both to flourish creatively and develop important life skills through creative workshops and placements. Our service provides a safe and accommodating environment for the ArtWorks artists to explore their own artistic passions. Our number one priority has always been to enrich the arts landscape through empowering a diverse range of voices and perspectives.
