About the Open Call

This programme is designed as an open research space for artists of all nationalities whose practice resonates with the notion of the clinical. It promotes a grounded, relational practice that engages with real-life narratives and the challenges of care. The laureate will receive bespoke support from Albertine de Galbert, a clinical psychologist and exhibition curator.

What is Offered

Includes a furnished live-in studio at the Cité internationale des arts (Marais site), a monthly grant of €1,000, coverage of international round-trip travel, travel insurance, research support, and professional support/mentorship.

Requirements

Open to artists and creators from any discipline at mid-career or established stage. Fluency in French or English is required. Must have a clear interest in the links between art and mental health.
