About the Open Call
Atmospheric Waves seeks concepts for sound art works that respond to the wind and climate conditions of Liepaja. The selected 5 projects will be part of the festival and exhibition program. Projects should be robust, resilient to coastal conditions, and address the themes of wind, climate, and listening through sound art, new media, or sensory studies.
What is Offered
Production budget up to 3500 EUR per project, artist fee of 1500 EUR per project, and a production residency at Laidi Palace from April 5 – May 12, 2027.
Requirements
The installation artworks must be robust and resilient to the wind and climate conditions of coastal Latvia.
