Banff Centre for Arts and Creativity
The Audio Recording Engineer program is intended as a continuing education experience for emerging recording engineers with mature artistic insight and professional experience. Participants will engage in mentoring, class sessions, and professional practice, learning recording and post-production techniques while supporting the diverse recording needs of the Banff Musicians In Residence 2027 program. Successful applicants receive mentorship from international faculty and gain experience with live and studio recording across various genres.
Professional training, mentorship from acclaimed international faculty, access to studio spaces, single-bedroom accommodation, and a daily meal plan credit.
Applicants must be 18+ years old. Requires a combination of formal training and/or professional experience in audio engineering. Working knowledge of ProTools and Pyramix is desirable. Must be available for the full duration of the program (Jan 07, 2027 - Feb 02, 2027).
