About the Open Call

GöteborgsOperans Danskompani is an internationally renowned, highly prolific contemporary dance company based in Gothenburg, Sweden, comprising 35 dancers from over 20 countries. The company collaborates with influential artists and choreographers such as Alexander Ekman, Sharon Eyal, and Crystal Pite, and tours worldwide. For the 2026/2027 season, the company is seeking highly-skilled dance artists with refined artistry who can contribute to their diverse and dynamic repertoire. Applicants should have experience in improvisation and value a positive and supportive work environment. A minimum of 3 years of professional dance experience is required. The audition will be held on 14–15 February 2026 at GöteborgsOperan and is by invitation only. All applicants will be informed of their invitation status.
