Amos Eno Gallery
Avant-garde Right Now! examines how artists today challenge traditional ideas of art, culture, identity, and social structures. The exhibition explores contemporary forms of experimentation influenced by themes such as marginalised identities, feminism, queer perspectives, climate change, political instability, digital culture, artificial intelligence, and internet-based creativity. The exhibition draws connections between historical avant-garde movements such as Dadaism and current artistic practices including Digital Dadaism and Post-Internet Art. It highlights artists who question conventional systems, experiment with new forms, and respond to the complexities of modern life through innovative visual language.
