About the Open Call

The AweSnapp Annual Art Award is a global competition for visual artists and photographers, celebrating innovation across all visual mediums including 2D and 3D artworks such as paintings, drawings, photography, digital art, and sculpture. It's open to artists worldwide, aged 18 and older, of all experience levels. Key dates include an Early Bird deadline of September 30th, 2025, a submission close date of March 31st, 2026, winners announced on April 20th, 2026, and award payouts on May 1st, 2026. The Annual Artist Award offers a total prize pool of $1,000 in cash awards, alongside artist interviews, newsletter features, social media promotion, and a digital certificate. Monthly themed awards also provide a $100 cash prize, free entry into the Annual Award, and newsletter features. Submissions are judged on creativity, technical skill, emotional impact, and presentation by the AweSnapp team and anonymous guest jurors. Cash prizes are distributed via PayPal.

What is Offered

The total prize pool for the Annual Artist Award is $1,000 in cash awards. Winners also receive artist interviews, a feature in our newsletter, social media promotion, and a digital certificate. For Monthly Themed Awards, one winner a month receives a $100 cash prize, free entry into the Annual Artist Award, and a feature in our email newsletter.

Requirements

The competition is open to artists worldwide, aged 18 and older. All experience levels are welcome. We accept original 2D and 3D artworks, including paintings, drawings, photography, digital art, and sculpture. All work must be created by the submitting artist.
