British Antique Dealers’ Association (BADA)
Founded in 1918, the British Antique Dealers’ Association (BADA) is the leading UK trade association for the fine art and antiques community. The BADA Art Prize, now in its fifth year, promotes “the antiques of tomorrow” by awarding a £1,000 grant to an emerging contemporary artist whose work exemplifies enduring ingenuity and quality. Finalists will be selected by a panel of industry experts, including internationally recognised artists, art critics, and curators. The finalists' works will be publicly exhibited at the BADA Art Prize reception on 13th November 2025 at David Messum Fine Art in London, where the winner will be announced. Artists are responsible for ensuring their work is available for showcasing and must attend the reception for the award presentation. BADA may consider compensating substantial transportation costs for finalists' works.
£1,000 grant, exhibition opportunity, potential transportation cost compensation.
Applicants must be currently enrolled in or have completed a post-secondary education at a UK institution. Submissions must be original works produced within the last 2 years.
Applications must be in PDF format and should be submitted to award@bada.org by 17:00 (BST) on the 1st October 2025.
