About the Open Call

The Banff Musicians in Residence program provides musicians (18+) with three weeks of space and focused time to research, develop, and create. Participants have 24-hour access to personal music studios, mentorship from faculty, opportunities for peer collaboration, and the ability to present work in public concerts. The residency includes a meal plan, accommodation, and access to campus facilities. It coincides with the Audio Recording Engineer Professional Training Program, allowing for limited studio recording opportunities.

What is Offered

Includes a single bedroom, meal plan, 24-hour studio access, faculty mentorship, networking, performance opportunities, and access to campus recreational facilities. Some participants may receive studio recording time through a parallel program.

Requirements

Applicants must be 18+, comfortable working autonomously, and available for the full duration of the program. Domestic and international applicants are welcome (must obtain own Visitor Visa if required).
