About the Open Call

BIG BANG is a three-month contemporary dance program in Montréal, combining technical training, multidisciplinary exploration, and a creation track. The program includes contemporary technique classes, floorwork, partnering, improvisation, and acro-dance workshops. Participants are guided through personalized mentorship and research labs, culminating in the presentation of a first stage of their solo work. The program welcomes a diverse cohort of local and international artists.

Requirements

Open to artists aged 18+ including dancers, circus artists, and actors with a movement-based practice. Applicants must have a strong understanding of movement and be able to commit physically to demanding work.
