About the Open Call
The Black Itinerant Library is a living, travelling library created by artist Luna Mahoux during her residency at House Work Presents. The project seeks donations of books, zines, photographs, films, audio recordings, oral histories, digital files, and other materials that preserve Black histories, cultures, and memories. Contributions will be on display at House Work Presents from 19–21 August 2026.
What is Offered
Inclusion of contributed archival material in the Black Itinerant Library exhibition.
Requirements
Contributions must carry and preserve Black histories, cultures, memories, and experiences. Everyone is welcome to contribute.
How to Apply
Materials can be donated in person in London at Cafe OTO (18-22 Ashwin St, London E8 3DL) or The Common Press - Dalston (97 Stoke Newington Rd, London N16 8BX). Digital materials can be sent to blackitinerantlibrary@gmail.com.
