About the Open Call
A 12-year running festival dedicated to recognizing experimental, poetic, and radical cinema that challenges conventional audiovisual production. The festival explores expanded cinema, performative installations, and formats such as live cinema, mapping, and virtual reality. It accepts various subgenres including found footage, cameraless cinema, video sculpture, video dance, and video performance. The event will feature physical screenings in Bogotá and online circulation through the festival's official platform.
What is Offered
Awards for Best Short, Medium-Length, and Feature Films (both National and International), special thematic mentions, and curatorial statements from a specialized jury.
Requirements
Works must have been produced between January 2024 and March 2026. Submission is open to artists of all ages (minors require legal representation). Works previously submitted to the festival are not eligible. Submissions are judged by a curatorial team and cannot be withdrawn once selected.
How to Apply
Applications must be submitted through the FilmFreeway platform. Works in languages other than Spanish must include both English and Spanish subtitles.
