About the Open Call

Bold Mud V is looking for boundary-bending live music and performance art that inhabits the intersections between live music and live art. Selected artists will receive a paid performance slot (£180/act) and documentation of their performance. The event will take place at Poplar Union on Saturday, September 26th, 2026. Applicants should offer 20-30 min set material incorporating original sound. They are particularly interested in LGBTQIA+ global majority, migrant, and diasporic artists living or working in Tower Hamlets.

What is Offered

Paid performance slot (£180 per act) plus professional documentation (photography & videography).

Requirements

Applicants must be live artists, musicians, bands, DJs, sound/noise makers, performance or spoken word artists. Work must incorporate original sound. Set duration should be 20-30 minutes.
