About the Open Call

ArtTreasury is an annual time capsule of global creativity, a treasure box of artwork by diverse artists. It provides a special feature on each artist, complete with their art, artist statement and contact information. Booking a space includes a two-page spread (or more) featuring your work and your artist statement, publishing of your direct contact information allowing collectors to purchase artwork straight from the pages of the publication, editing by our professional editor, and a free digital copy of the publication. Published artists will be announced as one of the selected artists/writers in the ArtAscent newsletter, published in ArtTreasury Collector’s Annual—a beautiful collectable keepsake publication that is available in digital and print long after the release date. Your showcase includes your artist profile and contact information including your website link and at least one of your submitted pieces. Artists will be showcased for at least two years on the ArtAscent website online exhibition, including your artist website link, and listed by name online for at least two years on the ArtAscent website artist listing directory. Additionally, artists will be promoted on the ArtAscent Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest and Instagram sites (unless opting out). This marketing tool is created by artists and writers, for artists.

What is Offered

Two-page (or more) spread featuring artist's work and statement in the ArtTreasury Collector’s Annual publication, direct contact information for collectors, professional editing, free digital copy of the publication, announcement in ArtAscent newsletter, two-year online exhibition and listing on ArtAscent website, and promotion on ArtAscent social media platforms.

Requirements

Artists must submit an application form including personal details, an artist statement (220 words or less), contact information for publication, titles and descriptions of up to 6 artworks, and up to 6 high-resolution JPG images. Images must adhere to specific naming conventions, dimensions (min 1500 pixels on one side), and total file size limits (60MB). Previously published ArtTreasury pieces should not be resubmitted. Applicants must accept terms and privacy policy.

How to Apply

Applications are submitted online via the ArtTreasury 2025 Application Form. Applicants must provide their first name, last name, country, email address, desired artist name for publication, artist statement (220 words or less), desired public contact information (website URLs, social site URLs, email, phone number, address), and titles/descriptions for up to 6 artworks. Artwork descriptions must include title, main material(s), approximate dimensions in CENTIMETRES, and approximate price in Canadian dollars (or NFS/Sold). Up to 6 high-quality JPG images must be uploaded, named in the format 'ArtTreasury_Lastname_Firstname_ImageTitle.jpg', with specific resolution requirements (min 1500 pixels on one side, up to 4250w x 2750h pixels for double page spread). Total file upload cannot exceed 60MB. Applicants must also accept the terms & privacy policy.
